Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.
Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.
The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.
Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
6:8 Depart: There is a dramatic change of mood in the psalm. Why? because the LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer. David was ill and he prayed. God heard and God answered David's prayer.
6:10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed: The psalmist speaks in righteous indignation against those who have reviled him, and more importantly have ridiculed his God.
